Offers In-Person and Telehealth Appointments

As each of us goes through life, we will experience difficult transitions. It could be the loss of a loved one or pet to death through disease, accident, or natural causes. Personally, you or a loved one may face cancer or other life-threatening situations. Life’s transitions are challenging. In all cases, you will need support from family, friends, and professionals. My professional experience includes working with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds facing challenging transitions in their lives. I have supported patients confronting these transitions while witnessing them gain greater self-awareness. I have also witnessed these patients becoming stronger and more confident through the healing process. I also addressed with patients associated conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, loss of self-esteem, burnout, and just feeling stuck. I offer empathetic and personable individualized therapeutic services utilizing different theoretical orientations. You will have the opportunity to freely express yourself in a safe and non-judgmental space. To help you achieve your goals and make positive changes in your life, I will also gently challenge you to be receptive to new perspectives on your healing journey. If you are ready to face the wind of your life’s transition, reach out to schedule an appointment. Licensed in IL, FL (telehealth only-https://flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/), and NJ. Here are some benefits you can gain from being in therapy: • Obtaining support to help you navigate life transitions • Helping you to manage your mental health symptoms • Gaining greater self-awareness to determine your goals and values • Finding resolutions to the issues or concerns that led you to seek therapy • Working through unresolved childhood issues and helping you heal from traumas • Learning new ways to cope with stress and anxiety • Managing anger, grief, depression, and other emotional pressures • Improving your communication and listening skills • Changing old behavior patterns and developing new ones • Improving your self-esteem and boosting your self-confidence • Encouraging support through challenging times • Incorporating meaningful and lasting change in your life • Helping you navigate the hassles of daily life and maintaining balance in your life • Working toward personal and profession growth • Motivating and empowering you to develop fresh insights about your life GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE NOTICE NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE PATIENTS AND CURRENT PATIENTS The No Surprises Act (NSA) establishes new federal protections against surprise medical bills that take effect in 2022. Under this law, health care providers are required to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, which includes psychotherapy services. As a patient, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, which includes psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an appointment for service, or at any time while you are in treatment. Please note, if you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. However, please make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. To find out more information or to ask questions about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, review your Good Faith Estimate and/or visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
